The book I read to research this was Windows Phone 7 for Dummies by Bill Hughes and it’s an excellent book. I bought this ebook from kindle. I think this will be quite a popular post because I was looking at the search results for this site and the most popular post was the iPhone even though it wasn’t the latest version I wrote about. Also I’ve noticed out of the blog-sites I have this one is the most subscribed to.
The windows phone uses a kind of cut down version of the pc version of windows 7 and also microsoft office. The operating system used by this phone is going to be used by several different phones but each one will be optimized a little differently. This phone has versions of word, excel, one note and sharepoint. One note is a personal planner and sharepoint integrates your phone with a computer so that if you work for a large that has sharepoint server they can get in touch via their server. That basically means that someone could phone your company and ask to speak to you and they could connect them to your mobile.
It also contains xbox lite which lets you buy, download and play mobile versions of mostly microsoft games. It contains microsoft live where people can get in touch via instant messaging and email. One point this book makes is that your computer, xbox and windows phone all integrate which gives in that particular way a competitive advantage over sony and nintendo.
